An update on Landis' response to COVID-19
Visit the Arboretum Landis is following CDC guidelines for COVID precautions. Fully vaccinated visitors are not required to wear masks or social distance inside or outside, although continuing to mask and social distance is a reasonable choice for those who wish to do so. People who are not fully vaccinated or are immunocompromised should continue to wear masks and social distance. The following guidance comes from the CDC website as of July 13, 2021: "Risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection is minimal for fully vaccinated people. The risk of SARS-CoV-2 transmission from fully vaccinated people to unvaccinated people is also reduced. Therefore, fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance. Fully vaccinated people should also continue to wear a well-fitted mask in correctional facilities and homeless shelters. Prevention measures are still recommended for unvaccinated people." |

In addition, we are posting videos to our Facebook page that we think you'll enjoy. Many of George Steele's workshops that have been cancelled will now appear as videos on our Facebook page. Here's the first one, which captures his always-popular Spring Night Walk. To further whet your appetite, we've posted a few short videos on our website, including seed starting tips and foraging for mushrooms, as well as a couple of in-home music performances featuring Arboretum Executive Director Fred Breglia and Landis Gardener Erin Breglia. We hope you enjoy them!
